Police are investigating a serious assault that took place outside Medicine at 11pm on the night of Saturday 17. Both Surrey Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the scene. Though there are no reports of serious injuries, several minor injuries have been reported and blood was observed at the scene the next day (see above).
Surrey Police state that the incident involved a ‘small group of men’, and officers have arrested a 20-year-old man from Egham on suspicion of common assault and assaulting a police officer. He has been released on police bail until December 20 while the investigation continues.
There are no reports of any further incidents, allegations or arrests at this stage.
