Having secured its Community FM License in 2010, Insanity Radio will finally be broadcasting on 103.2 FM from early next year.
Insanity developed from the 1997 RHUL Radio Society and has become a popular student-run service. It provides the opportunity for hundreds of media-minded students to take part and gain valuable experience in the field. Indeed, radio presenter Richard Clarke served as its very first Station Manager and has gone on to a career as a presenter on Capital FM.
Having already won Gold for ‘Best Technical Achievement’, at this year’s Student Radio Award’s this year has proven to be a successful one for the station. In addition to its new FM status, Insanity is hoping to undergo a large-scale rebranding in the New Year.
